The Seeker is my new drone 2023 reel. This short film is a kind of aerial footage reel that showcase the variety of different videos that I shot during the past several years.
The Seeker
Divided into two categories “nature and city” this 2-and-a-half-minute reel reveals just a glimpse of the diversity of some of my drone footage. Shot primarily in European locations this reel featured countries such as Russia, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Italy, Norway, UAE and others. The footages were captured by a variety of DJI drone models from Phantom 3 Pro to Magic 3 and everything in between, proving that not the drone matter but the operator.
The footages presented here are mostly new and unused clips, but some of them date back 6-7 years.
I used primarily Davinci Resolve Studio 18 for most of the work including editing, fixing, sky replacement, color correction, grading, noise reduction, film grain and so on. In some of the clips, I used Adobe After Effects for people removal.
Later on, AE was used to create a Post-production workflow breakdown video. Adobe Photoshop was used for finding the right sky for replacement and for all covers.
